As an avid Serie A watcher but growing up in the UK, there will forever be an intrinsic link between Italy and it’s football in my mind. Whenever I think of Italy in my youth I think of the scenes of Batistuta, Weah and in particular the Parma Calcio Football team that starred Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro and so many more. Connected to this team will forever be that Parmalat sponsor, and it’s link to football in general.
